Radiesse

Men and women looking for a minimally invasive way to enhance and revive their faces trust the science behind RADIESSE. At the Dermatology & Laser Institute of Southwest Florida, our patients love the subtle, natural-looking results that take effect immediately and last for up to 1 year. By stimulating the body's natural collagen production, this FDA-approved injectable filler creates a noticeable improvement in facial lines and wrinkles with no downtime.

Contact us today and request a consultation online or call (941) 488-5300 to find out more about RADIESSE.

When you schedule a consultation for cosmetic procedures, you will also receive a complimentary consultation with our aesthetician "Total Skin Rejuvenation" plan to help you achieve your best complexion.

About RADIESSE

RADIESSE relies on an ingredient called calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) that works in 2 ways. Immediately after injection, patients will observe an improvement in the appearance of their targeted areas. Over the next several months, the CaHA stimulates the body's own collagen production process, improving the look and feel of the targeted skin. The CaHA will eventually be metabolized by the body, a harmless process that leaves behind only your natural collagen. Visible results can last for up to 1 year, and most patients are satisfied with their results after a single treatment.

RADIESSE is currently the only FDA-approved dermal filler that immediately restores lost volume and stimulates collagen production. Patients who undergo a RADIESSE treatment report high levels of satisfaction with both the injection experience and their ultimate results.

RADIESSE has been approved to be mixed with lidocaine, a local anesthetic, in order to maximize patient comfort during the injection.

What It Treats

RADIESSE has been proven to create noticeable improvement in the following areas:

  • Corners of the mouth: Known as the oral commissures, this area can turn downwards as we age, exacerbating the appearance of other nearby wrinkles.
  • Marionette lines: These lines extend directly downwards from the corners of the mouth, making us look sad.
  • Horizontal chin wrinkles: Located directly under the lower lip, this stubborn wrinkle can distract from our smiles.
  • Smile lines: Also known as nasolabial folds, these are the "parentheses" that form when we grin.
  • Pre-jowl: The hollow areas on either side of the chin, called the pre-jowl sulcus, can lose volume and contribute to the development of jowls.

A RADIESSE treatment may be combined with other services, such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, and other dermal fillers to create a more impressive improvement. During your consultation, Dr. Greenberg will work with you to develop a plan that effectively addresses your concerns.

RADIESSE is an excellent choice for men and women looking for a long-lasting, non-surgical solution to age-related lines and wrinkles. With no downtime, high levels of patient satisfaction, RADIESSE fits the bill beautifully.
