Jennifer Bratcher Kallio - PA

Jennifer Bratcher Kallio is originally from St. Petersburg, Florida. She received her bachelor's degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida. After graduating she attended a nutrition internship in New York City before returning to Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Jennifer graduated with dual degrees in Bachelors of Physician Assistant Studies and Masters of Medical Science. Upon graduation, she began practicing dermatology in Sarasota and joined the Dermatology Institute of SW Florida in November of 2010.

Jennifer Kallio specializes in general dermatology for patients of all ages. Her scope of practice includes acne treatment, skin cancer screenings, mole evaluations, common dermatologic conditions and many cosmetic procedures, including Botox, Restalyne and several varieties of Cosmetic Lasers. She performs biopsies, cryosurgery, minor surgical procedures, and also has prescriptive privileges. Jennifer has received specialized training in surgical assisting / suturing for skin cancer (MOHS) surgery.

Jennifer is an active member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and on is the committee for the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Jennifer Kallio’s special interests include volunteering for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), The UF Alumni Association as well as other local charities. Jennifer spends her free time with her husband and their dog. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, reading and tap dancing. Jennifer is also fluent in Sign Language.
