Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a simple and safe procedure for exfoliating the epidermis and ridding the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). Dermaplaning is most often used on patients with rough, dry skin, superficial hyperpigmentation, mild acne scarring, or fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment results in a more refined, smooth, "glowing" appearance.

During treatment, the skin is carefully abraded down to the dermis using light feathering stokes. This treatment is safe for all skin types and is also a safe alternative for pregnant or nursing women who want a deep exfoliation, but cannot use chemical peeling agents on their skin. There is no downtime associated with dermaplaning and can be done as often as every two weeks, although it is usually done when hair begins to grow back, which is generally in one month's time.

Extra fee with any peel or treatment or stand alone Dermaplaning if there is no Peel or treatment.
